  • Disposal of Unwanted Medicines: If you have any unused medicines at your home, you can take them to one of our chemists who will dispose of them safely.
  • EPS: This service allows your GP to send your prescriptions to us electronically. To sign up for this service simply complete the form here.
  • FREE Collection & Delivery Service: Not only can we collect your prescription from the surgery for you, but our pharmacies can also offer to deliver your medication to your home. Ask a member of staff for more information.
  • Head Lice: This pharmacy will provide advice and support to people registered in Kirklees on the management of head lice, including where necessary, the supply of combs to detect head lice and medicines for the treatment of head lice.
  • Medicine Compliance Aids: Some patients require help with taking their medicines. Compliance aids available at our pharmacies and prepared by our pharmacy staff may be able to help. Pharmacy support could include compliance charts, screw top closures, medication administration record (MAR) charts, labelling medicines in large fonts and multi-compartment compliance aids. Ask a member of staff for more information.
  • New Medicines Service: If you are prescribed a new medicine for the first time, for either an existing or newly-diagnosed health problem, you may be able to get extra help and advice about your medicine from our pharmacist. This is available through a free scheme called ‘The New Medicine Service‘.
  • NHS Prescriptions: We supply medicines and appliances ordered on NHS prescriptions, and provide information and advice to enable safe and effective use by patients and carers.
  • Private & Veterinary Prescriptions: All our chemists dispense private prescriptions and prescriptions for animals. Ask a member of staff for a competitive price.
  • Private Consultation Area: Our pharmacists are health professionals trained to give you the best support and advice available. The service is free and all our branches have private consultation rooms where you can talk with your pharmacist about your health questions in the strictest confidence.
  • Promotion of Healthy Lifestyles: Did you know your pharmacist can provide you with advice and tips on keeping healthy, such as stopping smoking, how to eat healthily and how to get enough exercise? You may also be able to get leaflets and written information to help you make healthier choices.
  • Signposting: If your pharmacist thinks you may need additional help from other healthcare professionals, social services or voluntary organisations, they can provide you with the contact details.
  • Support for Self Care: All our pharmacists are highly qualified and want to make sure that you can look after yourself and your family. Your pharmacy can help you to do this by giving advice on treating minor ailments like coughs and colds, or long term conditions such as asthma and diabetes. Ask a member of staff for more information.
